Senior PV Officer, Team Leader – Pharmacovigilance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Offering assistance to various initiatives carried out by the project team on behalf of both the client and the company.

• Directly manages assigned ICSR personnel.

• Develops and maintains project-specific KPIs for contracted ICSR activities, which includes refining procedures, training, and implementing other measures to enhance ICSR team productivity.

• Suggests process improvements to the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Oversees ICSR deviations with the support of the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Reviews trackers and timesheet information to ensure precision.

• Participates in ICSR processing and serves as a secondary quality checker for cases.

• Assists other departments as authorized and directed by the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Functions as the designated team subject matter expert (SME).

• Provides support to the RA & PV Network Department as required, including serving as the Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance (LCPPV) for the specified country and assuming the role of Person Responsible for Local Screening (PRLS) for the assigned language, as agreed with the line manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or other healthcare-related qualifications, or equivalent experience in pharmacovigilance.

• 3-4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, including a minimum of 1 year in a line management position.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to multitask.

• Competence in delegation.

• Proficiency in planning and time management.

• Technical proficiency.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).

• Advanced skills in MS Office.
