Senior Public Policy Manager – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Monitor and evaluate emerging public policy trends in relation to the Company's mid- and long-term strategic objectives.

• Contribute to the formulation of the Company's public policy agenda through regular collaborative meetings.

• Assist the Company's country Managing Directors (MDs) by providing research support, briefing documents, and tracking policy developments.

• Cultivate robust working relationships with the Company's global and regional teams.

• Identify and propose alignment with shifting public policy trends.

• Oversee the daily management of the Company's public policy agenda.

• Engage in public policy coalitions and trade associations.

• Establish connections with key policymakers and regulatory authorities.

• Lead the preparation of policy briefs, government meeting briefing notes, internal memoranda, and research summaries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or related policy research/analysis roles; prior experience in government legislative/regulatory bodies is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree; a law degree or master's degree is a plus.

• Familiarity with policy issues concerning: Technology and the Internet; Cybersecurity and data privacy; Energy, environment, sustainability, circular economy policies; Government procurement policy; and National and local Tax Policy.

• Proven high level of integrity, attention to detail, adaptability, initiative, and teamwork.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and research capabilities, with the proficiency to distill complex regulatory developments into clear and concise written materials for executive and governmental audiences.
