Senior Protocol Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop distributed system components including consensus algorithms, memory-mapped databases, networking stacks, and synchronization mechanisms to ensure they are efficient, secure, and accurate.

• Assist our infrastructure engineers in managing our monitoring and alerting systems to guarantee high availability and facilitate efficient debugging. Participate in an on-call rotation to quickly address production issues and outages.

• Enable product teams to utilize protocols by encapsulating essential functionalities within user-friendly interfaces and APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Rust in a professional setting

• A solid understanding of blockchain principles, with preferred experience in contributing to a blockchain initiative

• Experience in low-level system programming and/or designing distributed systems
