Data Scientist – Blockchain Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Transform raw on-chain activities into reliable intelligence.

• Create, test, and implement clustering and attribution heuristics.

• Take ownership of your data throughout the entire process.

• Develop and sustain the pipelines that transition a heuristic from the notebook to production.

• Examine edge cases and convert findings into repeatable logic.

• Collaborate with investigations and product teams to establish what 'correct' entails.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in building data science or data engineering systems that have been deployed (not just notebooks).

• Proficient in Python and SQL; adept with large datasets and the complexities of joins, deduplication, and skew at scale.

• Strong understanding of clustering, graph/network analysis, or entity resolution.

• Capability to evaluate precision versus coverage trade-offs and justify your metrics.

• Self-motivated: able to define an ambiguous problem, gather the necessary data independently, and drive it to a conclusion.
