This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct inspections, take photographs, measure, sketch, and evaluate damages to residences affected by incidents such as partial fires, total fires, water damage, wind damage, flooding, hail, and vandalism.
• Assess the magnitude of property loss by estimating the costs associated with repairs, replacements, or compensation.
• Recognize additional exposures, including Personal Property/Contents, Additional Living Expenses, Mold, and Ordinance linked to property loss.
• A bachelor's degree or higher, along with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience, with at least one year dedicated to handling commercial, property, or specialty lines claims.
• Alternatively, an associate degree and a minimum of five years of related work experience, with at least one year focused on commercial, property, or specialty lines claims handling.
• As another option, a minimum of eight years of related work experience, with at least one year in commercial, property, or specialty lines claims handling is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and adherence to Progressive’s driving standards and/or policies are required.
