This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead and cultivate a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Supervise the successful delivery of projects, managing resources and workloads effectively.
• Ensure that quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
• Mentor and inspire team members in project management practices.
• Assist and provide guidance to team members regarding issues that arise during projects.
• Conduct regular meetings to assess workloads and project progress.
• Identify necessary resources and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
• Review and assign new projects in consultation with other Senior Projects Team Leads.
• Oversee large-scale projects.
• Develop and implement project work plans, making revisions as necessary.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Manage the daily operational aspects and scope of projects.
• Review team outputs prior to submission to clients.
• Apply project methodologies and enforce established project standards.
• Mitigate project exposure and risks.
• Promote and advance company business initiatives.
• Foster an open-door policy within the department.
• Uphold the company's values and vision.
• Collaborate with document control to ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.
• Self-driven, enthusiastic, and meticulous, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a busy and high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility and understanding of basic electrical principles.
• Proficient in English to lead advanced technical discussions with international teams and stakeholders.
• Exhibit Flex Ways of Working.
• Technically adept with Microsoft Office and SmartSheet.
• Proven experience in managing large and complex projects within switchgear, Busbar, and Modular solutions.
• Experience in people management and leadership.
• Proven skills in customer negotiations and managing stakeholder relationships.
• A leadership qualification would be a plus.
• Project Management certification would be advantageous.
