Senior Project Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the delivery of survey projects and coordinating team members.

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards.

• Making technical decisions while mentoring junior staff.

• Recognizing opportunities for additional services.

• Assisting in proposal preparation and participating in project meetings.

• Facilitating client coordination and aiding in business development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of office surveying experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT certification is highly desirable.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.

• Proficient in CAD software, particularly Autodesk Civil 3D.

• Experience in construction staking, including the ability to read plans, perform construction calculations, and prepare cut sheets.

• Experience with processing laser scanning data, including registration and 3D modeling is a plus.

• Ability to lead and initiate special projects as necessary.

• Flexibility in working hours may be required.

• Travel between BKF offices and other off-site locations may be necessary.

• This role may require reporting to a BKF office on a hybrid-remote basis depending on the location.
