Senior Project Manager – Utilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Serving as a pillar of consistency, reliability, and expertise within the Project Management Office (PMO), the Senior Project Manager is a seasoned leader and facilitator in every aspect.

• They actively manage daily priorities with enthusiasm and assurance.

• Senior Project Managers skillfully understand when and how to adapt their communication and management style to effectively convey direction according to the needs of a diverse internal team, which includes strategy, creative, and technology partners.

• They serve as the team’s advocate throughout the entire project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Remote position; working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm EST.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Over 7 years of project management experience is necessary; experience in consulting and agency environments is preferred.

• Proven experience collaborating with enterprise-level clients.

• Experience in the utility or highly regulated industries is essential.

• A strong desire for continuous learning and personal development.

• PMP, CSM, Agile-related certification or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience in managing web application and mobile application projects.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• A strong servant leadership approach.

• Proficient in problem-solving and conceptual skills, able to recommend effective approaches and methods.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.

• In-depth knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies, with a goal of becoming certified in agile methodologies.

• Effective in internal and external communication, adept at translating technical language to client-friendly terms and vice versa.

• Ability to lead effectively under pressure to ensure the highest quality deliverables.

• Outstanding presentation skills, comfortable speaking in both internal and client meetings.

• Excellent time management and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong capacity to oversee project teams and independently manage multiple projects.

• Proficient in Google Workspace and Project Management tools, with required experience in Azure Dev Ops, as well as familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
