This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support the advancement of projects as Gainwell collaborates with clients to enhance health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.
• Oversee one or more large project management teams by deconstructing operational goals and objectives into a practical action plan.
• Drive project planning, tracking, and supervision of the project team by offering direction and deadlines to guarantee quality and timely completion of tasks.
• Liaise with the client, company, and project team leadership, assessing and sharing project metrics/status; suggest program modifications as necessary.
• Develop project schedules, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to ensure the quality of project deliverables at every stage.
• Proactively manage projects across teams by promptly escalating any risks and applying risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee client, company, and project team expectations regarding agreed-upon project performance by gathering, providing, and monitoring project metrics.
• Maintain current and accurate project artifacts.
• Over 9 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through a complete project management life cycle.
• At least 3 years of Medicaid or Medicare experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management methodology or possess a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Capability to lead and convert the broader objectives of a program into clear and attainable project scope and milestones.
• Ability to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Strong executive presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
• Competence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while quickly transitioning between them.
• Influencer with the ability to clearly convey project priorities and inspire direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to take action.
