Senior Project Manager – Temp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct client-oriented projects within a benefits administration framework, ensuring consistency between client expectations, service delivery teams, and cross-functional collaborators.

• Spearhead projects associated with client onboarding, enhancements in service delivery, platform setup, operational readiness, and execution of annual enrollment.

• Serve as the main project leader for Service Delivery teams by proactively identifying risks, managing dependencies, and addressing issues that could affect client timelines or experiences.

• Guarantee that all client initiatives are in line with established objectives regarding client health, satisfaction, retention, and the success of long-term partnerships.

• Act as a reliable partner to internal delivery teams to ensure clarity, accountability, and high standards in executing client commitments.

• Lead and/or assist with client projects related to annual enrollment, including planning, coordination across teams, readiness tracking, execution support, and post-annual enrollment analysis.

• Collaborate with service delivery, technology, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution during periods of high volume and time-sensitive benefit cycles.

• Manage competing client priorities and minimize risk during peak enrollment phases through effective organization and prioritization.

• Identify lessons learned and foster continuous improvement to enhance future annual enrollment execution.

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive client-facing project plans using Smartsheet as the primary tool alongside Jira and other project management platforms.

• Implement Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies according to client requirements, project scope, and delivery timelines.

• Facilitate teamwork among service delivery teams, internal partners, and external vendors.

• Monitor project timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes for clients.

• Clearly and consistently communicate project status, milestones, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on client impact and delivery readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• 5–10 years of experience with benefits administration products and platforms in a client-facing or service delivery role.

• Proven experience in serving external clients and leading client-centric initiatives within benefits administration or benefits technology.

• 2–5 years of direct project management experience overseeing complex, cross-functional, client-facing projects.

• Strong understanding of service delivery models, operational workflows, and annual enrollment cycles.

• Proficiency in Smartsheet (required), Jira, and related project management tools.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities, with a strong client service orientation.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while juggling multiple client priorities.
