Senior Project Manager – Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Coordinate individuals and processes for various or intricate projects to guarantee timely delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.

• Create comprehensive project plans through thorough planning and collaboration across teams.

• Ensure the availability and allocation of resources.

• Deliver every project punctually and within budgetary and scope constraints.

• Monitor progress and milestones to ensure that the project yields successful results and remains within budget.

• Assess the supply chain network (at both regional and national levels) from product sourcing to customer delivery.

• Analyze manufacturing and warehouse facilities, transportation methods, and supplier locations.

• Suggest cost-effective and service-sensitive alternatives for supply chain network layouts.

• Assist in planning the product development cycle and resource allocations for upcoming projects.

• Facilitate weekly change notice and project meetings.

• Communicate project outcomes and potential risks to the relevant management channels, escalating issues when necessary.

• Lead weekly project status meetings.

• Act as a mentor and resource for entry-level Project Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of related experience is required.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Project.

• Capable of formulating business plans to assess proposed changes.

• Skilled in writing reports, business communications, and procedural manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information and address questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and others.

• Competent in identifying problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

• Ability to mentor team members on Project Management processes and procedures.
