This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of community-scale solar EPC projects, from pre-construction to commissioning and final closeout.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in adherence to contract specifications.
• Create and manage project timelines, financial plans, resource allocations, and necessary documentation.
• Identify potential risks associated with projects and implement strategies to mitigate any schedule or cost impacts.
• Track project performance and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams to guarantee successful project execution.
• Lead, mentor, and support project teams throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environment.
• Offer coaching, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth to project team members.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and the sharing of knowledge across the organization.
• Work alongside senior leadership to assess and enhance project management processes, systems, and procedures.
• Assist in developing scalable project delivery programs that align with company growth objectives.
• Seek opportunities to boost efficiency, lower costs, and improve project execution.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison for project owners and key stakeholders.
• Build and nurture robust relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Provide proactive updates regarding project progress, milestones, risks, and potential opportunities.
• Collaborate with business development and sales teams to enhance customer success and identify future opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and address project challenges, conflicts, and technical issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all company and site-specific safety guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on solar energy, renewable energy, or related infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently from planning through to commissioning.
• Strong comprehension of EPC project delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor relationships, and client interactions.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
• A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• LEED accreditation or other renewable energy certifications are preferred.
• Experience with community-scale or utility-scale solar projects is preferred.
• Background in leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements is preferred.
• Preferred location is Pennsylvania or a Northeastern U.S. state.
