Senior Project Manager – Release Management, Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure accountability for the timely, scoped, and high-quality delivery of projects.

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from planning and execution to final delivery across all phases.

• Define and align project goals, delivery strategies, and scope in accordance with client expectations and business objectives.

• Monitor project metrics, including timelines, KPIs, and financial performance to guarantee efficiency and profitability in delivery.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Supervise change management processes to ensure effective control over scope and contract modifications.

• Manage external vendors and third-party partners as necessary, ensuring alignment with delivery expectations.

• Provide regular, structured updates and reports to senior stakeholders and clients.

• Assist in business growth initiatives, including contributions to renewals and pre-sales activities.

• Mentor and guide junior project managers to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure that effective governance structures, communication channels, and delivery frameworks are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 6+ years of project management experience in IT, telecommunications, or a similarly complex technical environment.

• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent medium to large-scale projects.

• Strong understanding of project planning, execution, and governance frameworks.

• Experience in financial tracking, budgeting, and managing delivery performance.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and international teams.

• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models) is a plus.

• Required languages: Fluent English (mandatory).

• Fluent Spanish (mandatory).
