Senior Project Manager, National Dams Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in the effective planning, management, and execution of our Dams Group projects.

• Create and oversee projects and proposals to fulfill client and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate closely with clients and regulatory agencies as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Prepare project scope of work documents and project plans that incorporate an analysis of benefits, costs, schedules, and associated risks.

• Lead the design team in producing project drawings, technical specifications, schedules, and bid tabs.

• Monitor and report on project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during project construction.

• Formulate innovative and cost-effective solutions to construction-related challenges and RFIs.

• Engage with and effectively communicate with project partners, stakeholders, and the public to foster strong relationships.

• Mentor junior staff members.

• Support marketing efforts for the surface water discipline, the office, and the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).

• Over 10 years of project management experience in dams, levees, and surface water design.

• Familiarity with fundamental hydrology and hydraulic design software.

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Knowledge of permit application development and coordination with federal, state, and local agencies.

• Previous experience with projects involving planning & feasibility, assessments, design, grading, and detailing of dam and surface water facilities.

• FERC experience and certifications are a plus.
