• Manages multiple project portfolios for AI training data initiatives.
• Directs delivery and scaling efforts, including capacity planning, vendor oversight, and process automation.
• Maintains consistent quality across projects, enhances performance, and collaborates on work planning with the Senior Quality Analyst.
• Supervises a suite of programs that facilitate and expand Generative AI data operations.
• Plans and executes a series of projects from start to finish; establishes priorities, milestones, and transitions across different time zones.
• Conducts regular status updates, risk assessments, and executive briefings; aligns project scope and budget with account and operations leaders.
• Anticipates and secures capacity for raters/annotators; balances shifts, throughput, and skill sets among vendors and internal teams.
• Collaborates with the Senior Quality Analyst on defining acceptance criteria, conducting audits, and implementing corrective measures; ensures guidelines are consistent across projects.
• Identifies manual processes; tests automation solutions with Operations Technology.
• Establishes expectations, service level agreements (SLAs), and playbooks; reviews performance and drives enhancements or modifications as necessary.
• Develops and monitors budgets, expenditures, and profit margins; manages change orders to safeguard financial results.
• Leads root cause analysis and action planning; escalates high-impact issues with options and ramifications.
• Facilitates planning and quarterly business review-style evaluations; articulates results, risks, and subsequent actions in straightforward terms.
• Mentors P1 Project Managers and C2–C3 Coordinators on project planning, quality assurance, and tools.
• Ensures compliance with data handling, privacy, and access controls across all workstreams.
• Collects feedback, offers training and coaching, and promotes team unity through team-building exercises.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, data/engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience leading multi-project portfolios or large-scale multi-workstream programs in AI data, content review, labeling/annotation, or similar areas.
• Expertise in capacity planning, vendor management, and quality systems.
• Proficient in using spreadsheets, project management/task boards, and basic business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with SQL/ETL concepts is advantageous.
• Near-native proficiency in English with strong writing and editorial capabilities.
• Practical experience with generative AI tools (text, voice, or video).
• Background in quality assurance testing, rubric design, or assessments related to AI safety/ethics.
• Familiarity with data annotation platforms and model evaluation tools.
• Ability to understand code, datasets, and system workflows conceptually.
