Data Center Construction – Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee all phases of our data center development initiative within an existing shell building.

• Assess and confirm scope of work (SOW) documents and pricing from data center vendors.

• Supervise the installation and commissioning of essential MEP systems.

• Resolve technical challenges during the commissioning and construction phases.

• Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget while adhering to technical specifications.

• Maintain a physical presence on-site for at least 80% of the time.

• Provide project updates to internal stakeholders and leadership regularly.

• Work in partnership with Serverfarm Operations to ensure that constructed projects fulfill operational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in managing data center projects.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data center design, construction, and commissioning processes.

• Experience with critical MEP systems utilized in data centers.

• Proficient in reviewing data center SOWs and validating pricing for specialized vendors.

• Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot technical issues during the commissioning stage.

• Exceptional project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to be on-site for over 80% of the time.
