This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the main project leader for franchise openings, overseeing everything from site selection to handover to Operations.
• Oversee project timelines and deliverables across several active franchise locations.
• Collaborate with franchisees, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Facilitate weekly status meetings with franchise groups and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, proactively identifying and addressing risks, delays, and issues.
• Ensure compliance with Five Iron's design, construction, and brand standards.
• Secure corporate team approval for plans, materials, and procurement choices.
• Manage procurement and vendor coordination to maintain consistency.
• Keep thorough project documentation and reporting.
• Represent Five Iron professionally in all written and verbal communications.
• Confidently and diplomatically resist changes proposed by franchisees that deviate from established standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Over 5 years of experience in project management, construction management, franchise development, or multi-unit retail/hospitality development, ideally as a new store opening project manager.
• Capability to manage multiple projects while consistently delivering timely and effective results.
• Self-motivated with a mindset focused on continuous improvement; driven to enhance existing workflows and systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; comfortable advancing projects amid uncertainty.
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Basic understanding of design, construction, and build-out processes.
• Experience working with franchisees or multi-unit operators is highly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong leadership presence and capability to conduct structured meetings.
• Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance collaboration with a firm commitment to enforcing brand standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana) and Google Workspace (preferred but not required).
