This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage several simultaneous federal construction contracts from the initiation stage through to completion.
• Supervise project performance, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Guarantee the precise and timely upkeep of all project information within WorkBench.
• Oversee project financials, forecasts, and deliverables to maintain alignment with contractual and corporate obligations.
• Act as the main people manager for the assigned project team.
• Ensure projects are adequately staffed with the necessary technical skills and labor categories.
• Collaborate with operations and resource management teams to coordinate staffing plans.
• Proactively modify staffing levels to enhance project performance and safeguard profit margins.
• Assist in hiring decisions and personnel assignments based on project requirements and workload demands.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to federal contract regulations, including USACE and other agency standards.
• Engage in project meetings, progress evaluations, and performance discussions.
• Monitor project budgets, labor usage, and profitability across assigned contracts.
• Identify risks to margins and implement corrective actions related to staffing or execution strategies.
• Ensure optimal resource allocation across multiple projects.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for the assigned staff.
• Promote a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative team environment.
• Support staff development and training in line with both project and organizational goals.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Science, or a related field, along with 8 years of relevant experience; or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and teams.
• Strong grasp of project financial management, staffing models, and labor utilization.
• Experience with project management systems such as WorkBench or similar platforms.
• Prior experience supporting USACE or other federal agencies.
• Solid background in construction operations, QA/QC, or project controls.
• Familiarity with federal contracting requirements and compliance guidelines.
