Senior Project Manager – Design & Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Owner’s Representative during all stages of design and construction, from initial concept through to project closeout.

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, including airport rental car facilities, maintenance shops, fueling systems, car wash systems, plumbing and electrical infrastructure, ADA accessibility features, and administrative offices.

• Supervise programming, design development, permitting, procurement, and construction processes to guarantee alignment with company standards, operational needs, and brand identity.

• Ensure adherence to lease agreements, airport design criteria, local building regulations, ADA compliance, safety standards, and sustainability objectives.

• Lead negotiations and cultivate relationships with landlords, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in design and construction project management, ideally in an owner’s representative or client-side role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

• Technical expertise in fueling system design, permitting processes, construction, automatic car wash systems, plumbing and electrical systems and codes, ADA requirements, and IT system cabling design and installation.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and Primavera.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven capacity to engage effectively with executives, operations teams, contractors, and public agencies.

• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across the U.S. and Canada.
