This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Overseeing various simultaneous projects such as renovations, infrastructure enhancements, significant remodels, and new construction with a strong emphasis on ground-up development.
• Guiding ground-up construction initiatives through all stages: due diligence and land acquisition, feasibility assessments, design development, planning and zoning evaluations, pre-construction, construction, and project closeout.
• Assessing site feasibility during transactional phases by evaluating physical, environmental, regulatory, and financial considerations.
• Leading technical and financial assessments to define project scope, budget limits, timeline requirements, and risk elements.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and consultants to produce construction documents that align with project goals and budgetary constraints.
• Managing municipal approval processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, selecting contractors, procuring subcontractors, and implementing value engineering practices.
• Supervising construction activities, including schedule management, quality assurance, budget monitoring, change order processing, and safety adherence.
• Delivering weekly updates on project activities to the Team Lead regarding schedule, risks, budget health, and cash flow utilizing JLL technology platforms.
• Formulating risk management strategies and guiding teams through authorization processes to mitigate impacts in critical environments.
• Compiling thorough project documentation such as charters, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting notes, funding requests, status updates, and punch lists in accordance with established formats.
• Managing vendors to ensure adherence to all project policies and procedures, guaranteeing project closeout within 90 days of completion, which includes inspections, commissioning, warranty documentation, and client handover.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
• 10-20 years of experience in project management encompassing all facets of design and construction.
• Demonstrated expertise in project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling tools, and web-based platforms.
• Knowledge of architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and timelines.
