
Senior Project Manager – Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Document the project deliverables and scope within the Statement of Work.
• Develop, oversee, and record (in the agreed format) all production schedules, milestones, projections, estimates, and budgets for customer-assigned projects.
• Deliver project outputs in alignment with project plans, costs, and customer expectations.
• Manage project scope by identifying, defining, and communicating risks and change requests before implementing appropriate actions to minimize impact on project success.
• Focus on preventing slippage and overruns through early risk identification and the development of suitable proactive mitigation plans that are actively managed.
• Oversee the testing and acceptance process to achieve customer signoff.
• Create and manage RFP responses and estimates for prospective clients and projects.
• Act as the primary contact for customers to manage expectations and communications (including scheduled and ad hoc meetings), ensuring they are informed about project status, and securing approvals and signoff on all major deliverables.
• Manage the project team by assigning individual tasks, conducting regular meetings to monitor progress, and ensuring timely completion of all timesheets.
• Coordinate input from all project members, including third-party suppliers and customer personnel, to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant processes while identifying and agreeing on opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and update relevant repositories.
• Conduct regular meetings with the practice director to report on project progress.
• Lead end-of-project reviews and produce a lessons-learned document at the conclusion of the project.
• Notify the account manager of any potential new business opportunities with the customer upon discovery.
• 5+ years of experience in implementing enterprise-level e-commerce platforms, preferably SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall software development environments.
• Proven experience within teams developing e-commerce systems or other high-availability web-based applications.
• Familiarity with issue and bug management systems such as the Atlassian suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and/or Microsoft Visual Studio (TFS).
• 5+ years of project management experience overseeing projects through the entire lifecycle, from inception to go-live.
• Experience in writing Statements of Work or Project Charters.
• Experience in responding to RFPs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
