Senior Project Manager – BWR Owners' Group

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interact daily with customers (BWROG members) to grasp fleet requirements, pinpoint emerging challenges, and define project scope in line with industry priorities.

• Lead cross-functional technical teams that include utility subject matter experts, GVH engineering, vendors, and national laboratories to produce high-quality technical products and solutions.

• Create and oversee comprehensive budgets and schedules, demonstrating strong discipline in estimating, monitoring, and early risk identification.

• Assist committee chairs in organizing and executing committee activities, which includes agenda creation, action item management, decision documentation, and long-term strategic planning.

• Represent GVH at BWROG meetings, regulatory engagements, and industry conferences.

• Implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance internal processes, documentation quality, governance, and communication with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred).

• At least 10 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector, with a minimum of 5 years spent at a commercial nuclear power plant in roles such as operations, engineering, maintenance, licensing, or similar.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program or project management, leading cross-functional teams with responsibility for budget, schedule, and scope.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and customer relationship skills, capable of engaging both technical subject matter experts and utility executives.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% (mainly domestic, though international travel may occur).

• If not already certified, willingness and capability to obtain PMP certification within 8 months.
