This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Create and maintain integrated project timelines, plans, and dependency tracking across ERP and tax-related systems.
• Take charge of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and variance management.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead change management efforts by assessing impacts on scope, schedule, and project costs.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, ERP teams, integration partners, and external vendors.
• Establish robust governance structures, reporting cadences, and communication channels for executive-level updates.
• Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies, audit standards, and project documentation protocols.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment among senior leadership teams and third-party partners.
• Supervise testing coordination, cutover planning, deployment readiness, and implementation activities.
• At least 8 years of experience in IT Project or Program Management leading complex enterprise initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Proven track record in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and integrated dependencies.
• Solid experience with risk and issue management frameworks.
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial governance, forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level reporting (including SteerCo and dashboard reporting).
• Experience working within structured PMO environments with established governance and delivery standards.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead ERP transformation or enterprise integration initiatives, preferably in Oracle R12 environments.
• Strong expertise in financial systems and transactional system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with tax engine implementations or migration projects, with Vertex knowledge being a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder, and geographically dispersed projects.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integrations, data flows, and system dependencies across large-scale platforms.
• Experience managing external vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in high-complexity environments.
