Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead the effective implementation of electrical utility technology initiatives related to ADMS, OMS, EMS, and DERMS operational control systems.

• Serve as a primary client liaison, managing everything from the initial evaluation and qualification of project opportunities to addressing correspondence, inquiries, and submissions.

• Ensure project achievements through meticulous planning and adherence to compliance, which includes reviewing and briefing stakeholders on all project specifications, guidelines, and contractual obligations, as well as organizing bids.

• Take ownership of the project plan, timeline, budget, and key milestones.

• Establish and uphold project governance standards.

• Collaborate across IT, OT, cybersecurity, operations, and compliance teams.

• Manage dependencies across various programs.

• Propel project execution and resource coordination by maintaining and supervising schedules.

• Rigorously track and forecast operational budgets.

• Provide precise and timely forecasts for resource demand and financial variance reports.

• Identify and manage project-related, technical, and operational risks.

• Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or engineering from an accredited institution.

• Over 5 years of comprehensive project management experience.

• More than 2 years of experience managing enterprise software implementation and system integration projects.

• At least 1 year of experience supporting projects within a regulated utility, energy, or critical infrastructure setting.

• Proven track record of managing multi-vendor, multi-workstream initiatives.

• Experience collaborating directly with electric utilities or similar asset-intensive organizations.

• Proficient in coordinating projects involving OMS, ADMS, SCADA, AMI, or equivalent enterprise platforms.

• PMP Certification.
