Senior Project Manager

📋 Description

• Overseeing projects from pre-bid through to contract execution and completion.

• Managing project profit and loss performance, which includes forecasting, cost-to-complete, contingency usage, and margin protection.

• Providing direct leadership to Project Managers and Site Superintendents.

• Simultaneously overseeing multiple projects and their respective teams.

• Acting as a senior escalation point and decision-maker for complex project issues.

• Engaging in the pre-bid phase of projects, which involves reviewing plans and specifications.

• Collaborating with estimating and operations leadership to assist with project pricing.

• Leading the identification of scope gaps during the contract review process.

• Tracking and reporting on project outcomes and performance metrics.

• Ensuring compliance with contract stipulations and managing necessary changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in the construction industry.

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

• In-depth understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.

• Proven track record in managing and developing Project Managers and/or Superintendents.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting preconstruction activities.

• Proven capability to guide projects through inspections, closeout, and owner turnover.

• Strong working knowledge of subcontracted trades, including civil, electrical, plumbing, crane/set crews, and modular installation activities.

• Exceptional leadership, communication (written, verbal, and presentation), and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.

• Technically proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project Management Software.
