This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take full ownership of the project schedule from start to finish: create, maintain, and drive it across internal teams, EPCs, vendors, and host-site stakeholders.
• Monitor technical deliverables, proactively identify risks, and ensure the team remains ahead of schedule.
• Organize weekly status meetings and guarantee clear, consistent communication among all project participants.
• Review and oversee engineering deliverables including P&IDs, equipment specifications, QA/QC documentation, and engineering test procedures.
• Collaborate across disciplines to address interface challenges and keep the design process moving forward.
• Generate clear and concise project reports and updates for leadership and stakeholders.
• Over 7 years of experience in project management or project engineering within an industrial environment, having completed at least one full commissioning or startup campaign.
• Strong preference for experience with coal, solid fuels, or high-temperature combustion processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field; PMP certification is a plus.
• Comfortable working in coal plants, cement kilns, or other heavy industrial settings.
• Highly organized with meticulous documentation, seamless handoffs, and no loose ends.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse audience, including engineers, operators, executives, and site contractors.
