Senior Project Manager

📋 Description

• Possess extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of project management. This includes: 1) executing projects per a defined timeline, methodology, scope, and budget, 2) tracking and reporting progress to Fluxx management, the client project team, and key stakeholders, 3) identifying, mitigating, and managing risks, 4) discerning when to resolve issues or risks and when to escalate them, and 5) maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle while being thoroughly acquainted with the core principles of project management.

• Lead discovery sessions with clients, transforming the insights gained into functional requirements and user stories.

• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, understanding the importance of appropriate tone and medium based on the audience and circumstances, while proactively engaging with clients and key stakeholders.

• Act as the representative of the organization to the client, addressing all requests, regardless of size, in a prompt and professional manner.

• Conduct meetings with project stakeholders to define the scope, goals, deliverables, resource requirements, and timelines, all while presenting with confidence and positivity.

• Demonstrate the ability to assertively manage client expectations and say no when necessary, while building trust and consensus around challenging decisions.

• Be prepared to meticulously track and document all project activities, providing regular reports to the project team and stakeholders.

• Facilitate demonstrations and training sessions as required.

• Have a clear understanding of change orders, knowing when it is appropriate to implement them, and be capable of developing and selling the concept to the client.

• Show eagerness and capability in developing tools, best practices, and documentation for project management and related processes as needed.

• Be willing to support your team hands-on with testing, user stories, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional project management experience or relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years managing projects in the following areas: 1) SAAS software projects, 2) participating in and/or leading implementations, and 3) working in a client-facing project role.

• Highly detail-oriented with the capability to multitask, meet deadlines, rapidly process information, and demonstrate commitment to ensuring and maintaining the quality of the final product.

• An inherent ability to anticipate client needs, proactively addressing roadblocks, issues, and distractions both internally and with clients.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, being a team player with an even temperament, empathy, and a collaborative spirit.

• Strong project management capabilities, efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic setting.

• A proven history of being a team player and leader with excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration abilities.

• Experience in managing key stakeholders and working with senior leadership.

• A problem-solver with a proven ability to navigate challenges with innovative solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines, with a willingness to embrace a broad range of responsibilities.

• A self-motivated, independent worker and critical thinker with a positive outlook.

• Strong technical skills and familiarity with productivity tools.

• Good knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

• PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with grant management processes is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of the Foundation, Non-profit, and Social Impact sectors is a plus.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is advantageous.

• Experience with Salesforce and grant-making software is also beneficial.
