This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience in all facets of project management. This includes: 1) executing projects within a specified timeline, methodology, scope, and budget; 2) tracking and reporting progress to Fluxx management, client project teams, and key stakeholders; 3) identifying, mitigating, and managing risks; 4) knowing when to diffuse issues or escalate them; and 5) maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle, with a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of project management.
• Lead discovery sessions with clients, transforming the insights gathered into functional requirements and user stories.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, recognizing the importance of tone and medium based on the situation and audience, while proactively engaging with clients and key stakeholders.
• Act as the primary representative of the organization to clients, responding to all inquiries, regardless of size, in a prompt and professional manner.
• Conduct sessions with project stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, and timelines, all while maintaining confidence and a positive demeanor.
• Skillfully assertively decline client requests when necessary, while building trust and consensus around difficult decisions.
• Be prepared to meticulously track and document all project activities, providing consistent reports to the project team and stakeholders.
• Facilitate demonstrations and training sessions as required.
• Understand the concept of change orders, recognizing when they are appropriate, and be capable of developing them internally and persuading clients of their necessity.
• Show enthusiasm and capability in developing tools, best practices, and documentation for project management and related processes as needed.
• Be willing to actively support your team with testing, user stories, and documentation.
• At least 10+ years of professional project management or relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in project management roles that involve 1) overseeing SAAS software projects, 2) participating in and/or leading implementations, and 3) engaging in a client-facing project capacity.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines, processing information swiftly, and demonstrating a commitment to ensuring the quality of the final product.
• An inherent ability to anticipate client needs, proactively addressing roadblocks, issues, and distractions both internally and with clients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, being a team player with a calm demeanor, empathy, and strong collaborative abilities.
• Proficient project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• A proven history of being a collaborative team player and leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing key stakeholders and collaborating with senior leadership.
• A problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to navigate challenges using creative solutions.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, managing tight deadlines, and willing to take on a diverse range of responsibilities.
• A self-motivated and independent worker and thinker with a positive outlook.
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with productivity tools.
• Well-versed in project management tools and methodologies.
• PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with grant management processes is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of the Foundation, Non-profit, and Social Impact sectors is a plus.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and grant-making software is also advantageous.
