This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is essential in overseeing daily internal operations and the successful execution of a variety of strategic, creative, and medium-to-high complexity tactical projects, from their initiation to completion, across one or multiple brands.
• The SPM possesses expert-level project management capabilities, enabling them to independently manage any project or program and serving as the key internal point of contact for their projects.

• The SPM develops and actively oversees project timelines, estimates, risk registers, communication plans, burn reports, and change logs with minimal supervision.
• They lead the estimation process and set project budget and staffing guidelines with limited oversight.
• The SPM is responsible for creating project timelines in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, requiring minimal supervision.
• They facilitate project kickoffs and status meetings.
• The SPM generates and/or reviews and distributes meeting summaries, guiding and enhancing the capabilities of Project Managers (PM) and Project Coordinators (PC) in crafting actionable recaps.
• In collaboration with the Account Director (AD) and Group Project Director (GPD), they develop financial forecasts for proactive financial oversight.
• Together with the AD, Finance, and Account teams, they manage monthly billing processes, analyses, and necessary actions.
• The SPM collaborates with Account Services, AD, and GPD to assist in creating annual and project-specific Statements of Work (SOWs).
• They provide input on program Gantt Charts in partnership with ADs and GPD.
• Working with Account Services, AD, and GPD, the SPM helps with the development and management of change orders.
• They actively engage with project stakeholders to identify, assess, log, communicate, and address project-level risks.
• The SPM collaborates closely with Project Management Office (PMO) leadership to identify and mitigate risks at the program level.
• They assess project staffing requirements and work with resource managers and PCs to ensure the accuracy and updates of resource plans.
• The SPM resolves conflicts regarding scope, schedule, resources, budget, quality, and communication with minimal oversight.
• They ensure that all project artifacts (FRD, BRD, etc.) are properly retained within enterprise systems (Workfront, TFS, etc.).
• The SPM is accountable for applying Intouch delivery processes and PMO standards across their projects.
• They mentor and support training initiatives for Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
• Acting as the primary escalation point for Project Managers and PCs, the SPM keeps their direct manager informed, seeks assistance when necessary, knows when to elevate issues to leadership, and proposes solutions.
• They participate in candidate interviews as required.
• The SPM is adept at sensing team morale and addressing issues by modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively managing biases.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education along with professional experience is required.
• Three to five years of experience in a PMO role is necessary.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or advertising sectors is preferred (Agency of Record or Digital Agency of Record).
• Advanced knowledge and application of PMO standards and processes are essential.
• Proven experience in leading the delivery of complex projects that involve technology, strategy, and creativity.
• Ability to create a project plan that is heavy in creativity, strategy, or technical aspects.
• Capability to adapt processes to offer solutions that proactively facilitate a project.
• Experience leading diverse functional groups and project teams.
• Understanding of project forecasting and reforecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Expertise in project and program burn analysis and remediation.
• Excellent tracking and adherence to scope and change management protocols.
• Comfortable with communication in client-facing situations.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for anticipating, assessing, and mitigating risks.
• Ability to build trust and influence decision-making among Account teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Clients, Partner Agencies, and third-party vendors.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Capable of making decisions and implementing solutions, particularly in uncertain situations.
• Experience with Project Management Information Systems such as Workfront, Workfront Proof, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience in product launches is a plus.
