This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• The Project Manager oversees all facets of a project's success.
• Direct all customer interactions, including the development of quotations and timelines for new proposals.
• Ensure that both Development and Partners (if applicable) deliver precise and timely feedback.
• Create statements of work, Professional Services quotations, and budgetary estimates.
• Offer guidance and approval on statements of work, budget estimates, and timing plans.
• Spearhead the development of project deliverables encompassing both technical and business components.
• Lead the Professional Services team in every aspect of solution deployment.
• Provide PLM insights for business challenges and devise solutions to address those challenges.
• Foster relationships and seek opportunities for additional business growth.
• Capable of supervising multiple Project Managers and managing several projects simultaneously.
• Exhibit project management skills to be applied as required.
• Drive the planning and execution of all project activities in alignment with customer milestones.
• Possess the ability to manage projects utilizing Agile methodologies and best practices.
• Oversee all project communications, gate reviews, risk management, and resolution of open issues.
• Provide project metrics to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare project status updates and keep the Team, Management, Clients, and others informed of project progress and any related issues or escalations.
• Conduct meetings with the Project team and Client Personnel (including client executives) on both business and technical discussions.
• Supervise and manage project teams that may be situated either onsite or offshore.
• Oversee project budget, timelines, and quality of completed work.
• Generate documentation (such as change orders and statements of work) related to the project's delivery aspect.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science / IT, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in leading large-scale enterprise PLM software deployments in a Project Management capacity.
• At least 10 years of experience managing PLM deployments with teams of three or more members.
• Experience with managing large Commercial and Enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, P&L, invoicing, and billing.
• Proven expertise in one or more of the following sectors: Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Manufacturing (Industrial, Job Shop, Mass Production), Consumer Products, High Tech Electronics, Shipbuilding.
• Demonstrated industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Engineering change processes and best practices (CMII, CMPIC), phase gate project management, quality systems processes, requirements management, manufacturing process planning, MRO.
• Must be willing to travel 50%, primarily regionally, with frequent 2-to-3-day trips.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and French is mandatory.
