This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of delivery performance across a range of intricate projects, managing risk, schedule, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.
• Guide, mentor, and nurture Project Managers to ensure consistent and high-quality execution.
• Act as the main escalation point for significant project risks, issues, and customer concerns.
• Evaluate and approve project forecasts, cost-to-complete reports, and financial projections.
• Guarantee that projects are delivered at or above targeted gross profit margins.
• Provide strategic oversight on project execution, contracts, and commercial performance.
• Assist in resource planning and staffing forecasts in collaboration with engineering and business development.
• Ensure project execution aligns with Thermo Systems standards, QMS requirements, and strategic goals.
• Contribute to business development efforts through staffing alignment and customer relationship management.
• Maintain executive-level relationships with customers, general contractors, and key partners.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture across all project teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business development to synchronize delivery strategy and execution.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with internal leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate risks, constraints, and changes in scope at an early stage.
• Drive alignment across teams to resolve issues and sustain delivery momentum.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, QMS standards, and project governance processes.
• Foster consistency and discipline in project delivery throughout the organization.
• Identify and enact improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project results.
• Support the development and enhancement of project management capabilities across Thermo Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 15 years of experience in project or program delivery within industrial or technical settings.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex project portfolios and high-performing teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong capabilities in executive leadership and team development.
• In-depth understanding of project financials, forecasting, and margin management.
• Experience in managing risks, contracts, and change control processes.
• Excellent knowledge of control systems and industrial project environments.
• Ability to influence and drive alignment among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong skills in communication, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• High level of organization, accountability, and execution discipline.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance and delivery outcomes.
