This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Oversee the interior design initiatives for specialized or more intricate projects.
• Assist Project Designers in the quality assessment of design deliverables.
• Bring expertise to the interior environment with comprehensive knowledge of space planning, interior materials and finishes, casework, furniture, furnishings, and equipment; lighting; acoustics; wayfinding; ergonomics and anthropometrics; and human environmental behavior.
• Manage the complete design process, starting from initial sketches to the beginning of construction.
• Operate independently or with minimal supervision to complete tasks such as conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Create mood, material, and design presentations autonomously or with limited oversight.
• Engage actively in both internal and consultant meetings.
• Provide the team with extensive and quick knowledge of FF&E vendors and resources.

• A minimum of four (4) years of design experience within the commercial real estate sector.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA accredited institution in a related field (e.g., Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.), OR a Bachelor’s degree in a different major along with an Interior Design Certification, Degree, or Diploma.
• Experience in space planning utilizing Revit.
• Strong time management, communication, collaboration skills, and the capability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, along with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in coordinating Audio Visual and other specialized consultants.
• Ability to understand, document, and validate the client’s and stakeholders’ goals and objectives, including design outcomes, space requirements, project budget, and needs for specific or measurable results.
• Data Collection: Gather information from clients and stakeholders by participating in programming, surveys, focus groups, charrette exercises, and benchmarking to enhance design outcomes and occupant satisfaction.
