This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Reporting to the Senior Manager of Service Delivery, the Senior Project Coordinator for Practice Transformation (PT) is essential in facilitating the successful provision of practice support to family physicians.
• This role involves coordinating the ongoing enhancement of core operational processes that ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery for both the Practice Support Program and the Doctors Technology Office.
• A key responsibility of the Senior Project Coordinator includes overseeing the centralized intake process, making certain that practice support requests are appropriately triaged, prioritized, and allocated to the relevant Practice Transformation teams.
• Furthermore, the Senior Project Coordinator is tasked with measuring and analyzing intake data for reporting to various committees and the organization to identify trends, thereby enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• In addition to central intake, this position plays a crucial role in supporting a variety of strategic and operational initiatives, such as optimizing and developing internal processes, implementing new business applications, and addressing priorities outlined in the annual FPSC workplan.
• The role requires collaboration across teams to enhance operational effectiveness and improve the experience and impact for physicians accessing support through the Practice Support Program and the Doctors Technology Office—both flagship initiatives of the FPSC.
• A university degree and/or a recognized professional designation in a related field, along with up to four years of progressive and relevant experience; or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
• In-depth knowledge of a specialized functional area, alongside comprehensive understanding of the discipline, is essential.
• Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple significant concurrent activities and projects while maintaining attention to detail and effective time management.
• Capacity to apply logical and evaluative thinking to identify problems, gather information, establish facts, and determine the best solutions.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills, with proven ability to engage with highly trained professionals and senior managers.
• Excellent research and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise communications.
• Proven proficiency in PC-based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
