This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Accountable for the development of site and master planning in collaboration with clients and civil engineering teams as part of the site entitlements and building design approval process.
• In charge of building system concepts and the documentation process from schematics to construction administration phases.
• Capable of engaging during project pursuits to assist the Project Manager and Principal in Charge in defining scope and fees.
• Serve as a team leader on large, intricate, and integrated architecture and engineering projects.
• Client-facing, comfortable collaborating directly with sophisticated client teams that include a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Responsible for supervising and directing project team members.
• Develop and oversee discipline work plans.
• Conduct code research and document findings for projects.
• Perform material and product research as needed for project advancement.
• Create/edit project specifications using RIB SpecLink.
• Sign and seal documentation prepared under the candidate's direct supervision.
• Participate in project meetings as required.
• Oversee documentation interpretation and submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration.
• Monitor staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality architectural and engineering services within a project team framework.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or Sector.
• A Bachelor's degree and professional licensure are mandatory.
• LEED Accreditation is preferred, along with a commitment to sustainable and resilient design.
• A minimum of fifteen years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering industry is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of all facets of professional services from schematic design through project close-out, encompassing design and technical expertise.
• A thorough understanding of the coordination aspects and related requirements across all design disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to inspire and mentor staff while effectively delegating work assignments.
• Proficient in Revit software.
• Willingness and capability to collaborate with remote team members through video conferencing and other tools.
• Highly detail-oriented, self-driven, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others in high-pressure situations.
