This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Oversee the Community Grants program, including the development and evaluation of strategy and processes.
• Assist in the strategy for responsive funding and special initiative grant programs.
• Create region-wide outreach strategies in collaboration with the Grants team.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with new and emerging organizations that align with priority communities.
• Collect and analyze information, data, insights, and trends within LGBTQ+ communities throughout the region.
• Manage all facets of Community Grants implementation, such as outreach, application review, administration, reporting, and due diligence.
• Execute responsive funding and special initiative grantmaking processes.
• Establish and sustain relationships with grantee organizations while monitoring their developments.
• Incorporate trust-based philanthropic principles throughout the grantmaking process.
• Collaborate on grants administration tasks.
• Assist with other grant programs, including attending events.
• Ensure consistent messaging for the program in coordination with the Grants Team and Senior Communications Manager.
• Share narratives about the grant program both internally and externally.
• Embed racial justice considerations into work plans and strategic initiatives.
• Engage in building organizational culture, participating in caucus spaces and learning opportunities.
• Identify and tackle structural inequities in program implementation and community engagement.
• Contribute to a mission-driven, inclusive, and community-focused culture.
• Report to the Associate Director of Programs and work alongside the Director of Programs and Senior Program Officers.
• Proven experience, understanding, and dedication to the mission and values of the Pride Foundation.
• Strong commitment to promoting intersectional racial equity and justice.
• Dedication to power-sharing and redistributing power to communities most affected by inequities.
• Experience working with or within communities affected by systemic injustices, particularly LGBTQ+, BIPOC, Two Spirit, trans, non-binary, intersex, and/or gender-diverse communities.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities across diverse communities and regions.
• Exceptional experience in project management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Active participation in feedback and evaluation processes.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and objectives collaboratively in team environments.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, databases, online application systems, and project management tools such as Asana.
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel approximately 10–20% of work time throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
• Preferred, though not mandatory: experience in rural, small-town, and urban communities across the five Northwest states.
• Preferred, though not mandatory: experience in community engagement, organizing, grantmaking, program implementation, or related supportive sectors.
• Preferred, though not mandatory: experience working with Pride Foundation grantee organizations.
