
Senior Program Manager β Victim Witness Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with various local, state, federal, and private agencies to develop and maintain a comprehensive catalog of services and contacts.
β’ Serve as a research and liaison resource for identifying victim witness services from federal, state, tribal, local, and community-based entities.
β’ Regularly conduct agency needs assessments and analyze findings to devise and implement effective outreach strategies.
β’ Organize and conduct annual or bi-annual training sessions in partnership with SOIB/VMS, sanctioned by the USMS Training Academy.
β’ Gather and compile information resources for USMS personnel, including contact points for social services and community organizations.
β’ Evaluate victim-oriented activities to identify common challenges.
β’ Create methodologies for problem-solving and offer technical assistance and training to SOIB management.
β’ Act as a representative for USMS at committees, national conferences, and seminars.
β’ Stay updated on knowledge and technical expertise related to victim witness assistance issues.
β’ Support USMS personnel in drafting written responses to inquiries from Congress, Executive branch agencies, and the public.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
β’ A minimum of nine years of specialized experience in the responsibilities outlined above.
β’ Familiarity with procedures related to law enforcement agencies and the management of crime victims, as well as the interaction between public and private entities.
β’ Understanding of relevant statutes, policies, and procedures for federal victim assistance and the Attorney General's Guidelines on Victim and Witness Assistance.
β’ Capability to assess compliance with statutes, guidelines, or programs.
β’ Awareness of community resources and agencies that assist victims of various types of crime.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen.
β’ Ability to pass a background check.
β’ Travel required: Up to 10%.
