Senior Program Manager, Product Operations – SaaS Supply Chain Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate, cross-functional enterprise software initiatives, emphasizing Platform projects, in close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.

• Function as a collaborative partner to Product Managers and engineering leaders, converting strategy into actionable plans, milestones, and decisions while fostering alignment, transparency, and successful delivery outcomes.

• Develop and execute comprehensive plans for enterprise software and platform initiatives necessitating coordination across various teams.

• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to turn strategy into executable, milestone-focused plans.

• Oversee timelines, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across both internal and external workstreams.

• Ensure meticulous tracking of input and output metrics associated with platform capabilities, business outcomes, and delivery health.

• Actively identify obstacles, address issues directly, and drive solutions through clear ownership and escalation pathways.

• Maintain program documentation, including plans, decision logs, risk registers, and dependency maps.

• Implement path-to-green recovery strategies with specified corrective actions, owners, and timelines.

• Minimize friction and enhance throughput across both internally and externally managed workstreams.

• Continuously refine delivery processes to enhance predictability, efficiency, and scalability.

• Proactively create tools, templates, and lightweight automation to amplify execution and boost team productivity.

• Clearly communicate programs to executive and cross-functional stakeholders, providing structured status updates, risk escalations, and expectation management. Facilitate decision-making and sustain momentum across teams. Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Deployment, Support, and Customer Success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is considered advantageous.

• Project or program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in program management within enterprise software, platform, or infrastructure settings (SaaS or complex B2B preferred).

• Strong understanding of scalable systems, platform capabilities, and cross-functional interdependencies.

• High proficiency in AI-enabled tools and workflows, with a proven history of utilizing automation, data, and emerging technologies to optimize execution, enhance reporting, and facilitate quicker, more informed decision-making.

• Proactively seeks opportunities to amplify impact through AI.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies and enhance delivery predictability across programs.

• Strong leadership, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
