This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and implementation of the Medical Strategy for the Global Rare Disease and General Medicine Medical Affairs teams, which includes Dazodalibep and olpasiran.

• Lead the creation and execution of Medical Strategy in partnership with Medical Affairs Leads.

• Ensure the fulfillment of medical plans, insights, budgets, and objectives.

• Organize and synthesize insights to guide product strategy for both global and local teams.

• Communicate and monitor the execution of the Medical Plan, encompassing goal development and progress tracking.

• Promote alignment of the Medical Plan across global, regional, and local Medical leads.

• Collaborate with EGT, AUEG, IBT, and other cross-functional partners to unify the Global Medical Strategy.

• Facilitate decision-making processes and document decisions, actions, and follow-ups.

• Maintain cohesive plans, deliverables, and dependencies.

• Identify project challenges, risks, and resource shortages; aid in resolution, contingency planning, and escalation.

• Oversee and report on progress, timelines, and variances in the plan to Medical Affairs leadership.

• Assist in resource, financial, and capacity planning activities.

• Implement risk management strategies, contingency planning, and scenario analysis utilizing project-management tools.

• Encourage ongoing enhancement of Medical planning, governance, and operational methodologies.

• Employ approved emerging technologies, including AI tools like Copilot, to enhance Medical planning, reporting, and operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Senior Manager with substantial program-management expertise.

• Proven ability to operate efficiently in a complex, global matrix environment.

• Significant overlap with Pacific Time is necessary; typically available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with flexibility for crucial meetings and global deliverables.

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience, or Master’s degree and 4 years, or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years, or Associate degree and 10 years, or High School diploma/GED and 12 years.

• Preferred: 5+ years of project or program-management experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or another intricate, regulated environment.

• Preferred: 8+ years of industry experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.

• Experience in supporting Global Medical Affairs, Medical Operations, Finance, Scientific Communications, or cross-functional product teams.

• Experience with Rare Disease, General Medicine, specialty, or other complex therapeutic-area portfolios.

• Proven ability to communicate across various groups, levels, and interest groups while driving change and achieving results.

• Experience leading global, cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

• Proficiency in tracking project risks, prioritizing issues, managing resolutions, and communicating concerns.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish structure as priorities and responsibilities evolve.

• Experience with integrated planning, milestone tracking, resource planning, financial planning, capacity assessments, and executive-level communication.

• Proficient in tracking projects using Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, or electronic dashboard and reporting tools.

• Technical fluency with SharePoint, Copilot, Teams, and dashboard/reporting tools.

• Familiarity with and interest in AI and emerging technologies.
