This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to comprehend and fulfill regional and national clinical coverage strategies.
• Aid in the ideation and strategic planning of new nursing tracks or expansions.
• Identify and nurture clinical partnerships with hospitals, outpatient centers, long-term care facilities, and community health organizations.
• Negotiate and oversee affiliation agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards across various states.
• Work alongside legal and accreditation teams to finalize agreements and adhere to board of nursing requirements.
• Maintain continuous communication with site partners, faculty, and students to foster collaboration and resolve issues.
• Engage in steering committees and advisory boards to enhance practicum opportunities and fortify partnerships.
• Represent the university at community forums and stay informed about local healthcare needs and trends to guide clinical education strategies.
• Oversee scheduling and logistics for licensure track programs within the SoNHS.
• Ensure equitable access to clinical experiences while addressing site-related conflicts or capacity issues.
• Monitor site readiness and student satisfaction through feedback loops and evaluation tools.
• Facilitate student onboarding and orientation at practicum sites.
• Track student progress via CAP (Capella Academic Portal), documenting interactions, evaluations, and remediation plans as necessary.
• Act as a liaison between the university and clinical partners, addressing issues related to placement, student performance, or site logistics.
• Tackle site and student concerns, coordinating site changes when needed to facilitate program progression.
• Ensure adherence to state board of nursing requirements, including documentation of clinical hours, faculty qualifications, and site evaluations.
• Collaborate with site-based learning teams, faculty, and site partners to evaluate student performance and the quality of practicums.
• Analyze evaluation data to pinpoint trends and areas needing improvement in practicum experiences.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical education, partnership development, or healthcare operations is essential.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, CSWE) and state board regulations is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in program development, change management, and stakeholder engagement is required.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities are required.
• Capability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex issues is necessary.
• Proficiency in evaluating clinical competencies and facilitating student remediation is required.
• Experience with project management tools and practicum tracking systems is needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs is required.
• Ability to collaborate across academic, operations, legal, and clinical teams is essential.
