This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and create comprehensive training programs tailored to various roles within oncology and infusion services.
• Develop curricula, instructional materials, simulations, job aids, and tools for competency validation that are in line with clinical workflows and Epic Beacon functionality.
• Convert clinical workflows, system designs, and operational processes into well-structured educational content.
• Ensure the accuracy and readiness of training materials by validating them against Epic builds, organizational policies, and clinical workflows.
• Create scenario-based and simulation training that mirrors real-world oncology workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and Epic analysts to document, analyze, and enhance oncology workflows.
• Act as a bridge between end users and IT/Epic teams to ensure that workflows are in sync with system design and training efforts.
• Design and implement structured, role-specific training programs for a range of oncology services.
• Utilize various learning modalities, including Epic system training, clinical equipment education, policy and procedure training, and simulation-based learning.
• Assist in go-live readiness planning by providing on-site support during activation and go-live events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in clinical education, instructional design, or the development of healthcare training programs.
• Background in clinical informatics, workflow optimization, or environments involving EHR implementation.
• Strong grasp of oncology workflows, with a preference for experience in infusion/Beacon.
• Familiarity with Epic EHR or similar healthcare information systems.
• Capability to translate intricate clinical workflows into training content and system specifications.
• Experience in supporting healthcare implementations, go-lives, or extensive clinical system rollouts.
