This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
• Oversees team members, offering guidance, mentorship, and task direction.
• Conducts ongoing performance evaluations and career discussions with team members. Facilitates employee career growth and participates in the interviewing, recruiting, and selection processes.
• Manages and implements onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring their seamless integration into the organization.
• Ensures that all employee CVs, training records, position descriptions, and experience profiles are accurate and current. Monitors the timeliness and correctness of timesheets and expense reports.
• Assists with resource allocation in accordance with local resourcing protocols. Supports project and functional leads in optimizing project operations. Appropriately raises any concerns that may affect project deliverables.
• Provides training on Working Practice Documents (WPDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local requirements, and other topics influencing clinical operations. Identifies training deficiencies and ensures training needs are fulfilled. May assist in developing training programs when necessary.
• Ensures compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Notifies management about quality concerns, requests QA audits when needed, and facilitates both client and internal quality assurance audits as required.
• Manages and reviews systems (e.g., Activate, CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity) to assess employee and project metrics, KPIs, and overall project status.
• Assesses staff performance, including conducting PAVs (either remotely or on-site) to thoroughly evaluate employee monitoring competencies and project execution when applicable.
• Engages in initiatives for process enhancement and development.
• Ensures comprehension and application of the risk-based monitoring strategy.
• May provide input for bids and assist in acquiring new business as necessary.
• Collaborates with senior management and executive staff in clinical operations on strategic planning and business development as required.
• May lead or contribute to initiatives aimed at improving departmental performance or driving process enhancements across the organization.
• Prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (approximately 5+ years).
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Advanced skills in mentoring, leadership, and supervision.
• Exceptional clinical trials monitoring abilities, both remote and on-site.
• Proven understanding of or capacity to learn the company’s SOPs, WPDs, and pertinent regulations (e.g., ICH/GCP, FDA guidelines).
• Demonstrated capability to evaluate medical research data.
• Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and a solid command of English language and grammar.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer use, including data entry, archiving, and retrieval.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong team player with effective team-building capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills applicable to a dynamic environment.
