This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the Factory in a Box initiative from its inception to successful execution.
• Create and uphold the comprehensive program roadmap, master timeline, milestones, and critical path.
• Ensure synchronization across various workstreams and organizational stakeholders.
• Supervise program health, schedule, scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Foster accountability and collaboration among workstream leaders.
• Identify and manage interdepartmental dependencies.
• Coordinate efforts across equipment and mechanical engineering, procurement, systems integration, software development, cloud migration, reporting and business intelligence, logistics and supply chain, marketing and pricing, legal and corporate entity formation, operational readiness, and government funding and reporting.
• Establish and uphold program governance structures.
• Lead weekly cross-functional program meetings.
• Maintain integrated project plans and dashboards.
• Prepare executive status updates and presentations for the Steering Committee.
• Escalate decisions that require executive authorization.
• Maintain RAID logs and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
• Resolve cross-functional challenges and propose corrective measures.
• Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, systems integrators, and technology partners.
• Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and expenses.
• Support updates to the business case throughout the program's lifecycle.
• Facilitate implementation readiness and aid in communication planning, organizational adoption, and transition to ongoing operations.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project and program management.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional business transformation initiatives.
• Experience in coordinating projects that involve multiple business functions and technical areas.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in managing complex vendor partnerships.
• Experience in facilitating executive steering committees.
• Strong knowledge of dependency management, critical path analysis, and enterprise risk management.
• Experience in managing integrated budgets and program timelines.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Available for contract work.
• Comfortable with a fractional engagement starting at a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, capital equipment implementation, supply chain or logistics, digital transformation, ERP implementations, multi-site operations, software development, or cloud technologies.
• Experience in the printing industry is an asset but not mandatory.
