This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of the overall execution of programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance targets are met while surpassing customer expectations.
• Comprehend program requirements and engage in ongoing customer communication to align engineering initiatives with mission objectives.
• Coordinate the deployment of Anduril capabilities in collaboration with engineering, logistics, technical operations, training, and other stakeholders.
• Promote a "Team of Teams" culture throughout Anduril, among customers, and with third-party partners.
• Manage contract deliverables, including performance metrics, technical documentation, and user engagement roadmaps.
• Cultivate a high-performance program team culture focused on achieving outcomes.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, testing, operations, business development, and other departments.
• Evaluate team competencies and resource needs, identifying areas for training or recruitment.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop the strategic roadmap for Air Defense in the designated region.
• Examine market trends, competitors, and customer demands to pinpoint growth opportunities and formulate business strategies.
• Incorporate engineering expenditures into the strategic planning process.
• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements, technology adoption, and innovation.
• Supervise budgets and take corrective measures as necessary.
• Create cost estimates and pricing strategies in partnership with finance and business development teams.
• Oversee financial planning and reporting across various functions.
• Identify financial risks, cost overruns, and constraints, and devise mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, support teams, and local customers to deploy and maintain capabilities.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to grasp technical concepts, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks.
• Capability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams.
• Experience in program management.
• Previous military or national security professional experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.
• Extensive experience living and/or working in Taiwan.
• Preferred: significant experience living and/or working in Japan, Korea, or other key regional defense markets.
• Preferred: professional proficiency in Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.
• Preferred: knowledge of US Government regional defense posture and Indo-Pacific policy.
• Preferred: experience in leading military operational planning, targeting, and fires systems/workflows.
• Preferred: familiarity with doctrinal, functional, and technical command-and-control concepts, processes, and principles.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with regional militaries and governmental defense entities.
• Base salary range of $151,000–$200,000 USD.
