This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of the division's strategy and vision.
• Provide leadership and direction for Testing Logistics Services (TLS) resources, ensuring the establishment and achievement of performance objectives.
• Facilitate effective project execution by offering support across all areas of project management, including but not limited to schedule management, risk management, issue management, and project oversight.
• Organize and lead project meetings, such as kickoff meetings, project planning sessions, status updates, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, risk review boards, and change control boards.
• Engage in TLS team meetings, project planning sessions, and status update meetings as necessary.
• Ensure project timelines are maintained and closely monitored, including gathering updates, tracking progress, and coordinating with stakeholders to fulfill project commitments.
• Oversee and coordinate across matrixed teams to identify, escalate, and resolve obstacles that may hinder the successful and timely completion of testing initiatives.
• Offer consultation and advice regarding processes, requirements, and expectations for transitioning products to Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V).
• Collaborate with executives, program managers, technical teams, clinicians, and government leadership across VA organizations.
• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Managerial, Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7+ years of experience, including significant experience as a Senior Project Manager, supporting federal programs, project management offices (PMOs), or enterprise operations.
• Experience working with large and complex government organizations, preferably within VA, DoD, or federal healthcare settings.
• Must possess knowledge and understanding of integrated master schedule concepts and resource-loaded/leveled schedules.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with good interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Selected candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive Government background screening process that requires the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
