This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Overseeing comprehensive research projects, which encompass customer discovery, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking, while converting intricate data into actionable insights, opportunity areas, and strategic recommendations that guide product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
• Performing quarterly and ad hoc performance evaluations across bookings, pipeline, win/loss metrics, retention, and product analytics, effectively translating findings into clear narratives suitable for senior leadership and Board members.
• Sustaining extensive knowledge of K-12 market dynamics, including the needs of district and school customers, competitive movements, policy changes, and emerging trends, while proactively identifying implications for pricing, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Developing robust business cases to facilitate the evaluation of product investments, strategic partnerships, and opportunities in adjacent markets, balancing growth potential with long-term portfolio profitability.
• Supporting cross-functional planning initiatives by delivering timely market, customer, and competitive insights that aid decision-making across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• At least 5+ years of experience in product strategy, strategy consulting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or a combination of relevant work experience.
• Proven ability to synthesize secondary and primary research, market landscape findings, business result data, and competitive intelligence resources.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the capacity to analyze performance trends and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience in creating materials for executive and Board-level presentations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10%, for key events like team summits, training, customer meetings, and company occasions, with potential increases during peak business periods.
• Additional experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
• Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or enterprise software sectors.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, or similar CRM and business intelligence tools.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and executive-level presentations.
• Familiarity with the Student Information System (SIS), Enrollment, Family Engagement, or related K-12 education technology markets.
