📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Client Strategy Director to identify potential clients, lead discovery discussions, and cultivate partnership opportunities.

• Manage and expand a designated portfolio of prospective and existing client relationships, with accountability for achieving set sales and revenue objectives.

• Guide client opportunities from initial discovery through to proposal development and contracting, ensuring high-quality outputs and timely follow-up.

• Assist in prospecting and outreach for key partners, contributing to the development and maintenance of a pipeline of new and expanded partnership opportunities.

• Attain fluency in Movement Labs' service offerings and, once acclimated, independently conduct introductory client discussions, manage opportunities within an assigned portfolio, and propose solutions that align with partner aspirations and Movement Labs' mission.

• Convert client objectives into ambitious, evidence-driven programs by suggesting tactics, timelines, metrics, and implementation strategies across texting, RCT management/consulting, organizing consulting, and social/digital services.

• Function effectively amidst uncertainty by taking proactive steps to advance work before all answers are available and crafting innovative solutions to emerging challenges.

• Gain a thorough understanding of Movement Labs' project management systems and execution methodologies.

• Oversee (or closely supervise the Campaign Associates' management of) the successful implementation of key client programs and potentially direct one or several Campaign Associates’ program executions.

• Establish strong relationships with clients by acting as a trusted, responsive partner during program execution.

• Enhance and standardize internal processes that facilitate client strategy, proposal development, contracting, and program delivery.

• Develop frameworks and repeatable processes for client engagements that enable smoother program transitions to campaign associates.

• Ensure that client information in Copper and associated systems (Asana, Launchpad, etc.) is accurate, comprehensive, and current.

• Collaborate closely with Experiments, CES, Tech, and Data teams to ensure seamless cross-functional execution of partner programs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in client management, partnerships, c4/527 organizing, or b2b sales within the progressive politics sector.

• Demonstrated success in developing and managing large-scale voter engagement programs that yield measurable results.

• Strong project management and organizational capabilities with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

• Ability to independently advance work, manage competing priorities, and navigate uncertainty following an initial onboarding phase.

• Excellent relationship-building abilities and a collaborative approach to engaging with clients and cross-functional teams.

• Eagerness and ability to quickly understand Movement Labs' services and confidently design programs that promote measurable progressive impact.

• A systems-oriented perspective with a focus on refining processes, establishing repeatable workflows, and enhancing operational excellence.

• Commitment to Movement Labs' mission and a passion for contributing to the growth of progressive power.

• Experience in managing or mentoring junior staff members.

• Familiarity with CRM and sales operations tools such as Copper, Asana, or Airtable.


🏝️ Benefits

• A base salary ranging from $90,000 to $99,000 (Level 4).

• A $5,000 bonus for completing the cycle by staying through Election Day, in addition to eligibility for commission.

• A work-life stipend of $1,875 in pre-tax reimbursement to support employees during peak work periods.

• This role is a temporary, full-time position offering paid holidays and accrued sick leave.

• The position will be active until November 13.

• Movement Labs promotes a remote-first culture with team members located across the country.

• This position is NOT eligible for inclusion in the collective bargaining unit.
