Assistant Director, Strategy Measurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Tech and Data leaders along with internal stakeholders to establish and guide the implementation of the Enterprise's measurement framework, translating priorities and strategies into clear, people-focused performance metrics.

• Take ownership of the creation and continuous improvement of enterprise-level metrics, methodologies, and data collection standards that facilitate consistent progress tracking against Enterprise priorities across various divisions.

• Direct the prioritization and sequencing of the measurement roadmap for data and analytics teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and optimal resource utilization.

• Engage with Enterprise leaders to promote the adoption of new measurement practices and processes that are in line with organization-wide standards.

• Collaborate with program, operations, and functional leaders to integrate new measurement approaches and metrics into existing dashboards and reporting processes.

• Work alongside Data Governance leaders to define organization-wide terms and measures, clarifying purpose, ownership, and appropriate usage in accordance with the Enterprise's data governance framework.

• Lead the design and development of data visualization tools and reports that showcase progress on the Enterprise's strategic priorities, partnering with the Business Intelligence team for operationalization.

• Facilitate data-related organizational change by creating adoption guides, stakeholder communications, and training materials that convey how measurement aligns with the Enterprise's mission, values, and long-term vision.

• Conduct enterprise-level analysis of performance and impact data to uncover insights regarding effective practices, provide evidence for program scaling, deliver intelligence to management and executive teams, and contribute to ongoing organizational learning.

• Comply with the Enterprise's data privacy framework and governance standards, perform quality assurance reviews, and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with departmental and regulatory guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in strategy implementation, impact measurement, analytics, program management, consulting, or related areas (a Master’s degree may replace some of the experience).

• Proven experience in translating organizational priorities or strategies into measurable outcomes and actionable implementation plans.

• Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams, with a knack for converting leadership priorities into analytics requirements.

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior and executive audiences.

• Robust organizational and project management abilities.

• Flexible and collaborative, with experience working in diverse, multi-functional teams, whether virtually or in person.

• Excellent critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects at once.

• Familiarity with topics related to community development, housing policy, urban economics, demographics, and/or real estate development.
