This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience by being dedicated to assisting our clients in achieving their laboratory objectives.
• Assist multiple sales representatives by supplying detailed information regarding our diagnostics portfolio, which includes technical data/presentations, product suggestions tailored to customer applications, and additional technical assistance.
• Identify new customers and opportunities while also enhancing our current customer base.
• Carry out the sales cycle and process effectively, ensuring professionalism, ethics, and persuasiveness, ultimately guiding the customer towards action.
• Formulate, present, and execute sales strategies and plans to grow the business within the designated territory, utilizing Salesforce and other CRM tools for efficient customer and business strategy management.
• Consistently enhance knowledge of the clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and microbiology markets, including their trends and our competitors.
• Make independent decisions using available resources to fulfill customer requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team of suppliers and internal partners.
• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively at all customer locations at all times.
• A minimum of 3+ years in healthcare sales, medical device sales, or capital equipment sales, ideally in Clinical Diagnostics.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a scientific discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Must be willing and able to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of clarifying complex technical concepts.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Robust analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a matrix environment.
• Strong skills in relationship building and negotiation.
• Capacity to assess market trends and the competitive landscape.
