Senior Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Implement significant features and architectural enhancements across the Add-ons stack, which includes automated moderation pipelines, Reviewer tools, and DevHub.

• Develop comprehensive observability systems and insights driven by data.

• Offer constructive peer feedback, share knowledge, and support the growth of others.

• Enhance platform reliability through effective deployments, monitoring, and incident management.

• Ensure the platform remains secure and trustworthy, prioritizing security and user trust.

• Take initiative to address issues affecting users and developers, ranging from minor bugs to larger-scale incidents.

• Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, QA, and community contributors to implement holistic improvements.

• Engage in open collaboration through pull requests, code reviews, and discussions.

• Proven experience in developing modern web applications.

• Strong proficiency in Python/Django or comparable backend frameworks.

• Knowledge of web security principles and best practices.
