Senior Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for application security pertaining to products and/or features handled by your designated development teams.

• Conducting security assessments and managing issues identified through SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST, and penetration testing.

• Utilize AI and MCP to develop intelligent, context-sensitive security guidance and automation solutions.

• Offer remediation consulting services to the assigned development teams.

• Support vulnerability management through reporting and tracking efforts.

• Oversee third-party penetration testing activities, review reports, and create tickets for necessary remediation actions.

• Aid in the configuration and administration of security tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application/product security.

• At least 2 years of experience in securing web applications built with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with enterprise-level software architecture components and cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience in establishing trusted advisor relationships with engineers, product owners, and engineering management, including up to the director level.

• Experience with AI security tools and context-aware automation within the SSDLC framework.

• Knowledge of AI privacy and governance issues in developer workflows.

• Experience in utilizing and developing agentic AI systems that collaborate effectively.

• History of advocating for the resolution of application security risks while considering the associated development and engineering teams.

• Proficient in identifying vulnerabilities in source code, outlining detailed reproduction steps for exploitation, and providing actionable recommendations to engineering teams for remediation.

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience is a prerequisite.
